This excursion will take you to the heights to visit the highest peak in Spain: El Teide.
We will cross the Corona Forestal Nature Reserve and leave the Canary Island pine forests behind us until we reach the Teide National Park, located some 2,000 metres above sea level. This area was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2007 with the category of Natural Heritage.
Along the route we will make some stops so that you can admire all that the natural area of Las Cañadas del Teide has to offer: a landscape of impressive lava flows that looks as if it has been brought from another planet. Let yourself be amazed by this volcano which, at 3,718 metres, is the third highest volcano in the world from its oceanic base.
We will visit some of the most emblematic places of the National Park, such as the Llanos de Ucanca, or Los Roques de García. As we walk, we will learn interesting facts about the volcano and discover the diversity of the native flora and fauna that only grow in this area.
We will make a stop at the base of the cable car where, if you have purchased your ticket in advance and subject to availability, you can take the Teide Cable Car up to La Rambleta station, located at 3,550 metres, where you will be just a few metres from the highest peak in Spain.
Throughout the day, you will have free time to have lunch on your own or enjoy the Canarian gastronomy tasting one of the menus that we recommend in one of the restaurants in the area of El Portillo.

- A maximum of 2 wheelchairs per bus.
- Priority seats on the front of the bus.
- The degree of disability must allow the person to get on the bus assisted by accompanying person.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION about the Teide cable car
- If you would like to use the cable car during a tour of the Teide National Park, you must purchase a ticket when booking your tour.
- The Teide cable car does not accept changes or cancellations after 16:00 the day before the excursion.
- Facilities may stop working due to unfavorable weather conditions, we will be informed about this in the morning.
- Tickets for the Teide cable car for children from 3 to 13 years old.
Restrictions
- People with heart problems, pregnant women, and children under 3 are not allowed to ascend by cable car due to the risk that high altitude poses to their health. If you have any health problems, consult your doctor before planning your visit or booking your Mount Teide Cable Car tickets.
- In accordance with current regulations, persons with any physical disability or motor impairment are not permitted to make the ascent by cable car, because of the potential risks if the vehicle has to be evacuated.
- It is essential to bear in mind that in the event of the failure of the cable car system due to unexpected technical reasons, passengers already at the upper station will have to make their descent on foot and using steep mountain paths.
Free Cancellation
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the excursion. If you cancel within 24 hours of the excursion, there will not be a refund. Cable Car Ticket: bookings may be cancelled or changed free of charge until 4 p.m. on the day before the booking date. After this, no reimbursement will be made.
How will I receive my tickets?
After you complete your purchase, you will receive an order confirmation email within a few minutes. This email will contain all the details of your purchase, including the event, date, and number of tickets. Please note we do not send tickets by post.

If a transfer service is included with your booking, we offer convenient hotel pickup. The availability of this service will depend on your hotel’s location and the specific excursion.
May I pay directly in cash when the tour / activity starts?

We generally cannot give any discounts due to the very high demand. We offer discount for group bookings. Please contact us
What happens if the weather is too bad to go on the excursion?
If the weather is too bad to go on the excursion, it will be rescheduled or you will receive a full refund.
May I purchase a gift voucher?
To purchase a gift voucher, you can either book with a specified date if you know it or without a date. Simply provide your personal details during the booking process—your name, email address, and phone number. Shortly after, you'll receive an email containing the ticket or voucher as a printable PDF, ready for you to gift immediately
