Our first visit will be to the Teide National Park, located in the heart of Tenerife and home to the highest peak in Spain: El Teide Volcano. Here we will stop for about 30 minutes to admire the impressive volcanic landscapes of Las Cañadas del Teide, not forgetting the emblematic rocks of Roques de García.
・After this visit, we will descend to Icod de los Vinos, where we will have the opportunity to contemplate the famous Drago Milenario tree, which is said to be over 800 years old. You will have free time to have lunch on your own and enjoy Canarian cuisine, trying one of the menus that we recommend in some of the restaurants in the area.
・The next destination is Garachico, a colourful coastal village with a history marked by the volcanic eruption of 1706. Here we will stroll through the streets of its historic quarter, declared a cultural heritage site in the Canary Islands, and discover emblematic places such as the natural pools of El Caletón, formed by lava flows, and the Castle of San Miguel, an ancient fortress that protected the town from pirate attacks.
・Then we will head to the Teno Rural Park until we reach the village of Masca, nestled between impressive valleys and ravines. Admire the charm of the traditional architecture of this place, declared a site of ethnographic, historical and cultural interest.
